In a small group we heard an inspiring talk by Prof. Dr Pauline Reinecke (IMO) and Peter Jaeger (CompuSys). Both reported on their joint project to build a patient platform in India. The platform is meant to let patients fitted with an exoprosthesis (usually a leg prosthesis) connect and exchange with others in the same situation.
Over the dinner that followed, the discussion continued, covering economic, social and ethical aspects of living with a prosthesis in India.
Our special thanks go to the two speakers, Pauline Reinecke and Peter Jaeger, and to all the guests who helped make the evening a success despite the wintry weather! As part of our still young cooperation with Contact&Cooperation, this was the first Meet & Eat at which we could welcome a C&C delegation. Lovely that you were there – we look forward to next time.
