The Deutschlandstipendium scholarship of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) supports high-performing and socially engaged students on their academic path through a community programme involving politics, business and science.
The goal of the scholarship programme is to improve the study and living conditions of particularly talented, high-performing students and support them in completing their studies successfully. Social commitment is also taken into account when selecting scholarship recipients.
What makes the Deutschlandstipendium special is that half of the funding comes from the federal government and the other half from private donors. The Alumni and Friends Association of Leuphana University was one of the supporters of the Deutschlandstipendium in 2023.
