In record-breaking temperatures, the AFL held its annual general meeting on 27 June 2026 in the beautiful Blue Salon of INNOMANIA cowork<\/a> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Chair Dr Mats Kahl used a vivid presentation to outline the association\u2019s activities and events. Treasurer Philip Dunkhase and board assistant Norman Noack gave an overview of membership numbers and finances, and Deputy Chair Regina Gra\u00df and board assistant Dr Adelheid Schellmann reported on the events they had attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As scheduled, the board was elected. Our previous ordinary members Julian Obertopp and Julia Zeigert did not stand again and are now leaving the board. A heartfelt thank you to both of them for their engagement in the AFL!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The remaining board members <\/a>Dr Mats Kahl (Chair), Regina Gra\u00df (Deputy Chair), Philip Dunkhase (Treasurer) and Val\u00e9ri Pollentzke (Secretary) were confirmed in office. Newly elected as ordinary members were Mareile Truxius and Dr S\u00fcnje Helldorff. Congratulations on your election \u2013 we look forward to working with you on the board team!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the official part of the annual general meeting there was a delicious finger-food buffet from Caf\u00e9 Le Petit<\/a>, and the ice-cream parlour on the ground floor was glad of our visit too. The day rounded off with a tour of the historic town hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
