As the alumni and friends association, we are glad to support initiatives and events on campus. In April the time had come again: the Institute of Information Systems held a Mario Kart tournament on 21 April 2026 as a community-building activity. More than 60 students competed against one another in randomly drawn pairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over pizza and free drinks there was sweat, tension and cheering. Away from the racetracks, university news was exchanged and new friendships were made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the evening the two lucky winners collected their prizes: an engraved gold trophy and a first-semester textbook with a personal dedication from the lecturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the successful premiere, the event is set to become a series: see you again in the winter semester 2026\/27! The AFL is already looking forward to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
